Ghana Delegation Visit

 
Our sister church, Osu North of Ghana, sent a delegation of members to visit us. On Sunday night we shared our cultures with each other. Thanks to those who asked great questions, shared experiences and sang!

Not Sleeping in Boxes

Since it was a bit wet outside and sleeping in boxes would have been more than soggy, everyone canvassed the neighborhood to collect canned food for the food pantry and play "Bigger and Better." Here are the results:
 
 
 
Randy believes that the boys obviously won because they came back with two "better" items. Lindsay knows that is obvious that the girls brought back an item that was BIGGER and clearly better, or at least practical. You can weigh in on the right side-bar.

Freshmen Candidates?

We will be voting October 12th for the freshmen representatives to serve on youth council. If you are interested in serving or want to nominate someone (with their permission), then please inform Sarah Dennis or a youth advisor.

Hello, to all you new youth groupies. Welcome back to all of you who have done this before. We can't wait to start the new year! Tell us (any of the youth advisors) what you're up to and we can add it to the calendar. Going to perform in a school play? We'd love to see it. Playing baseball this year, Bohmke? Tell us when your games are. Your fellow youth group members might even attend, too!
